Gallup Catholic School Student Recognized for Volunteer Service

Gallup, New Mexico – Ruthie Mulvaney, 10, of Gallup has been honored for her exemplary volunteer service with a President’s Volunteer Service Award.
“The Prudential Spirit of Community Award”  recognizes Americans of all ages, who have volunteered significant amounts of their time to serve their communities and their country. This award was presented on behalf of President Barack Obama.  Miss Mulvaney participated in the Spirit of Community program this year as a representative of Gallup Catholic School, where she is a 5th grade student.
“I am honored to receive this award, and would like to thank my mom and dad, Steve and Amy Jo Mulvaney, for helping me write this essay and for their love and support.”

 

Open House to be Held March 26 – 27

Gallup Catholic School will be hosting an open house on Tuesday, March 26th from 10:00 – 2:00 pm, and Wednesday, March 27th from 1:00 – 6:00 pm. Visitors will be able to visit classrooms during instruction, observe and meet teachers and students, and tour the building. Refreshments will be included.
