2nd Annual Spanish Market Will Celebrate Traditional Southwest Religious Art and Culture

You’re not going to want to miss the Sacred Heart Spanish Market, because this big a collection of artistic masters is hard to find all in one place outside of the plaza in Santa Fe.

Over 40 artists and craftsmen from New Mexico and Arizona, specializing in traditional and
contemporary Spanish Colonial art, will exhibit and sell their work.

Come and check out the dozens of booths and art displays, or attend a lecture or demonstration where the artists will share their expertise and creative processes. Once you’ve taken in some of the best artistic displays New Mexico has to offer, why not stop by our car show? Plenty of classic, vintage and lovingly-restored cars will be on display for your enjoyment.

You’ll also be able to enjoy plenty of tasty food items and listen to performances by school bands and dancers, and buy tickets for the parish raffle, which features a top prize of $10,000.

This is a day for the whole family to enjoy, so bring your kids along – they’ll be able to take
advantage of a jump house, free snow cones, and more!

Schedule for the weekend

Friday

6:00pm – 9:00 pm:Preview night and Opening Reception; Judging

Saturday

10:00 am – 5:00 pm: Open show
Saturday Vigil Mass: 5:15 pm  – includes Mass and Eucharistic Procession with the artists

Sunday

10:00 am – 1:00 pm: Open Show

Saturday and Sunday both include:

Classic car show
Karate demonstrations, performances by the Mid-school band, Bengal girls and others
Free water and snow cones
Jumper for children
Refreshments for purchase, including fry bread

Sacred Heart Parish community will have the drawing for their annual Parish Grand Raffle on Sunday afternoon, 1:00 pm. Tickets are $100.00 and the top prize will be $10,000.

Tickets may be purchased at the Spanish Market and the proceeds benefit Sacred Heart Parish.
