Suzanne Hammons is the editor of the Voice of the Southwest and the media coordinator for the Diocese of Gallup. A graduate of Benedictine College in Kansas, she joined the Diocesan staff in 2012.

The 2020 Bishop’s Mardi Gras Gala will be held on February 22, 2020, with all proceeds going to benefit Sacred Heart School in Gallup.

The event is hosted by the Catholic Peoples Foundation, a non-profit organization which raises funds for charitable causes throughout the Diocese of Gallup. At the gala, guests will have the opportunity to support the school through ticket sales and a silent and live auction.
