GALLUP (June 17, 2019) – On May 31, 2019, the Franciscan Friars of the Province of St. Barbara released a list of clergy and friars who have been credibly accused of sexual abuse of minors. The report indicated that three of the friars served in Whiteriver, AZ from the 1960’s – 1980’s. St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Whiteriver, AZ is in the Diocese of Gallup. We are currently reviewing the names and dates and will update our own list of credibly accused clergy once we have verified the assignments.
