Farmington/San Juan area

June 8

Ice Cream Social: 1:00pm – 4:00pm at St. Mary’s Parish Hall, 307 N. Church St., Bloomfield NM. Free ice cream and snacks! Bingo by the Knights of Columbus, Face Painting, entertainment raffle and door prizes, and more! All proceeds benefit the Benedictine nuns of the Monastery of Our Lady in the Desert. June 17-21

Aztec Vacation Bible School: 9:00am-12noon each day at St. Joseph Parish, 501 North Mesa Verde Avenue, Aztec NM 87410. From ages 4 years to 5th grade. We needs volunteers to help in kitchen, with games, and to read Bible stories. We will have VBS registration forms in the vestibule of church starting next week. Gallup Area

June 21-23

Sacred Heart Spanish Market and V8s for Vocations Car Drawing, 555 S. Woodrow, Gallup NM. Over 40 artists and craftsmen from New Mexico and Arizona, specializing in traditional and contemporary Spanish Colonial art, will exhibit and sell their work at the annual Sacred Heart Spanish Market. Come and check out the dozens of booths and art displays, or attend a lecture or demonstration where the artists will share their expertise and creative processes. Once you’ve taken in some of the best artistic displays New Mexico has to offer, why not stop by our car show? Plenty of classic, vintage and lovingly-restored cars will be on display for your enjoyment. Our v8’s for Vocations fundraiser will raffle off a completely restored ’57 Thunderbird, with the winner announced by Chevel Shepherd, Season 15 winner of NBC’s The Voice. You’ll also be able to enjoy plenty of tasty food items and listen to performances by Otilio Ruiz and Lone Piñon. This is a day for the whole family to enjoy, so bring your kids along! Snowflake/White Mountain Area

June 10-14

Snowflake Vacation Bible School: Our Lady of the Snows Church, 1655 Main Street, Snowflake AZ. Our Lady of the Snow will be hosting Vacation Bible School, June 10th-June 14th. We have two Sisters coming to teach. Registration forms are available in the parish office. St. Peter Parish Fiesta: Starting at 5pm on June 28 and 10 am on June 29 at St. Peter Parish, 203 E Apache St., Springerville AZ 85938.
